Where good people do great work together.
Join the team at Wheatbelt Psychology Services
Country values. City support.
Wheatbelt Psychology Services began with one psychologist travelling across the Wheatbelt to provide services where none previously existed.
Today, we are a team of 12 clinicians and support staff delivering psychology and Positive Behaviour Support services across regional Western Australia and the Perth metro area.
Our growth has been driven by referrals from families, schools and support teams who value services that are:
Reliable
Thoughtful
Practical
Collaborative
While we’ve expanded into the metro area, the values that shaped the practice remain the same:
Why work with us?
A Team That Actually Stays
We prioritise looking after our staff so they can build sustainable careers. Many of our clinicians stay long-term, creating stability for both our team and the people we support.
Current Opportunities
We are currently seeking an experienced administration professional to support our growing team.
This role requires previous administration experience within an NDIS therapy clinic.
The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and confident managing the moving parts of a busy allied health service.
More information about the role will be provided to shortlisted applicants.
Real-World Understanding
Many of our team are neurodivergent or have family members with disability. We understand the realities of navigating systems, schools and supports.
Meaningful Work
Our clinicians work closely with families, schools and support teams to create practical, lasting change in people’s everyday lives.
Opportunities to Grow
We actively support career development within our team and have helped staff move from administration roles into clinical positions as their skills and qualifications develop.
Flexible work that fits real life.
Great clinicians don’t always fit into traditional work schedules and we don’t expect them to.
At Wheatbelt Psychology Services, we design roles that work for the people in our team while still delivering consistent support for the communities we serve.
School Hours Friendly
Many of our team work around school drop-offs and pick-ups. If you’re a parent wanting meaningful work that fits around family life, we’re open to structuring roles that make this possible.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice
Our work is grounded in respect, dignity of risk and person-centred practice.
Reliable, Thoughtful Services
Families and referral partners trust us because we show up, communicate clearly and follow through.
Working around a FIFO roster or only available every second week? We can design schedules that accommodate alternating availability.
FIFO-Friendly Scheduling
Not everyone wants a full-time role. We regularly create part-time positions that allow clinicians to maintain balance while doing work they enjoy.
Part-Time Opportunities
Telehealth sessions, report writing and administration can be completed remotely, allowing for greater flexibility and reduced travel.
Work From Home Options
Roles can include clinic sessions, school visits, home appointments and community work depending on your interests and the needs of the role.
Clinic & Community Work
Work across regional Wheatbelt communities or within the Perth metro area depending on your preference and the role you take on.
Wheatbelt & Metro opportunities
Grow your career with us.
We believe in developing people, not just hiring finished professionals.
Several members of our team began in administration or support roles and progressed into clinical positions as they completed further training and qualifications.
We value people who are motivated to learn and grow, and we aim to create opportunities for staff to develop their careers within the organisation.
This might include:
Moving from administration into clinical support roles
Progressing into provisional or registered clinician positions
Developing expertise in Positive Behaviour Support
Taking on leadership or supervision responsibilities
We are proud to be a workplace where people can build long-term careers, not just short-term jobs.
Our team values.
Our workplace culture is built around a few core principles:
We look after our team
Flexible work, sustainable caseloads and supportive supervision are priorities.
We work collaboratively
Good outcomes come from working closely with families, schools and support teams.
We focus on practical outcomes
Our work is grounded in strategies that help people in their everyday lives.
We value lived experience
Many of our clinicians are neurodivergent or have family members with disability. This informs the way we approach our work.

We are always interested in hearing from provisional or registered psychologists who are looking for flexible, meaningful work within a supportive team.
While we may not always have an advertised role available, we regularly expand our team as demand grows across both the Wheatbelt and Perth metro areas.
If you are interested in working in a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming practice with genuine flexibility and strong clinical support, we welcome you to submit an expression of interest.
