Our standard psychology fee is below the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc recommended rate of $318 per hour.
We do not offer bulk billing.

Dylan, who completed his internship with us as part of his Master’s degree, will continue to provide services as a Provisional Psychologist.
To support our mission of providing affordable mental health care in the Wheatbelt, we are offering $120 psychology sessions with Dylan in Northam, available fortnightly on Thursdays.
Dylan works under close, ongoing supervision from an experienced, fully registered psychologist, with regular review and guidance to ensure care remains safe, ethical and high quality.
Sessions with Dylan are not eligible for Medicare rebates under a Mental Health Treatment Plan. However, seeing Dylan does not prevent you from using your Mental Health Treatment Plan sessions with another eligible psychologist if needed.
MEDICARE REBATES
Private psychology session: $240
Current Medicare rebate: $101.55
Approximate out-of-pocket cost: $138.45
To access Medicare rebates for psychology services, a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) must first be completed by a GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician.
With an MHTP, you may be eligible to claim Medicare rebates for up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year (1 January to 31 December).
Your initial referral generally provides access to six sessions. After these sessions, your referring doctor can complete a review and, where appropriate, refer you for additional sessions, up to a total of 10 per calendar year.
After your appointment, we can submit your Medicare rebate claim directly to Medicare for processing.
Medicare rebate amounts can change, so please check with Medicare for current rebate information.
NDIS PARTICIPANTS
Wheatbelt Psychology Services is a registered NDIS provider offering Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support.
We can provide services to participants who are:
Agency-managed
Plan-managed
Self-managed
Our NDIS fees are in line with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
Provider travel charges and remote loadings may apply depending on the service and location. Additional travel costs may also apply for travel to some areas.

PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE REBATES
If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim a rebate for psychological services provided by Wheatbelt Psychology Services.
Coverage and rebate amounts vary between policies, so we recommend contacting your private health insurer directly to confirm whether psychological services are included in your cover and what rebate may apply.
You will pay the session fee upfront and can then submit your claim to your private health insurer for reimbursement.
